Suffolk New College are looking for a student to join the Suffolk New College Corporation for the 2019/20 academic year.

The role of Student Governor is worthwhile and rewarding for those who want to make a positive difference to Suffolk New College.

The Student Governor is an equal governor to the rest of those on the board, but has a unique contribution to make and will play as full a part in the governance of the College as is possible.

The Student Governor as a member of Corporation is a volunteer and there to represent the interests of the student body and the public interest in general.

The Corporation together with the Principal are the highest level of decision making in the College being responsible for determining what education and training the College will provide and the way in which this will be delivered. They also lead the drive for improved standards in teaching, learning and assessment by challenging areas for improvement.

We are pleased to announce the SU have agreed an exclusive offer for Suffolk New College students for Sound City Ipswich festival tickets! 

Sound City Ipswich takes place on Friday 4th October, and is set to be the very first music festival and industry conference of its kind in the town.

Artists include Mercury nominated grime artist Novelist through to The Murder Capital, Wu-Lu and Dingus Khan.

Suffolk New College will be holding our annual Induction Week Event from Monday 2nd September to Friday 6th September between 12 – 230pm.

There will be a variety of organisations setup in the college atrium and out on the forecourt engaging with students with a range of fun and educational activities. Please view the attached document for full details.

The Event is aimed at showcasing external organisations to new and returning students in order to give them the opportunity to receive advice, guidance and support for areas affecting both their personal and educational lives.
